Normalize Speaking Of Angel Babies
Written & Photo by Brittany Bonaparte

One week before my birthday I went into early labor at 30 weeks. When my fiancé and I arrived at the hospital we were told that our daughter’s heart stopped beating. We were devastated. We named our precious angel Saijè Breonya Bonaparte. She was our first born, we had so many things ready for her arrival. We wanted to keep her name alive forever. We say her name everyday. We didn’t get rid of any of her things. They belonged to her. She’s still with us in spiritual form. She will never be a memory.
If you have experienced stillbirth know that it is okay to speak about your angel. It is okay to post pictures. It is okay sleep with their stuffed animals. Our babies were taken from us too soon. Our babies matter today and everyday. Surround yourself around others who understand. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Please trust God. We love our babygirl so much. She’s truly changed us for the better. It’s our goal to be a voice for the voiceless and break the silence surrounding stillbirth. No more suffering in silence. I am here for you mama. We understand your feelings.
