It’s Okay To Not Be Okay

For the past couple of months, you may have heard and seen the phrase “It’s okay to not be okay”. It’s okay to not be okay means your feelings and emotions are valid, no matter what they are.
It’s okay to cry. It’s okay to grieve. It’s okay to hope. It’s okay to take a break. It’s okay to walk away from situations you’re not comfortable in. It’s okay to be happy. It’s okay to take a break.
While you may be uncomfortable feeling all these emotions, know that you matter, your feelings matter. It’s okay to talk to someone about your feelings and emotions. Don’t hide your feelings because others may look at you different. Express yourself by doing something that makes you happy. Be gentle with yourself.
If you can’t control your feelings and emotions, talk to your local counselor.
