Forever Changed

I lost my beautiful daughter Cassandra , my best friend at the age of 32 and my happy grandson Garner at the age of 4 in a car wreck. They was my life and Cassandra was my only daughter and Garner was my only grandson. We didn’t go grocery shopping without each other and we didn’t do anything without each other. Every night I would video chat them before they went to sleep and my grandson loved me so much and I loved him so much, he was always happy and laughing and in a second they were gone and now my life is forever changed. I’m the only one left here to exist with my brain always in a fog waking up every morning re living that day over and over again. May 20, 2021 and at different time through the day I can still hear my Garner saying, “Hey Mimi”, life is completely not normal anymore now that I have lost what made me alive.
