Sophia Ann Chancellor, Our Beautiful Angel

Our Angel Sophia Ann Chancellor gained her Angel wings silently and unexpected on June 4th 2022. Our life was complete and so beautiful or so we thought after having our daughter on May 23 2022 and I signed to have my tubes tied to later find out they were removed but I was still ok because I had 2 beautiful children. My sunshine baby Our son 2 and our daughter. Life was great and I couldn’t have been happier God blessed me with 2 beautiful children until I went to check on my daughter in her bassinet and she wasn’t breathing 12 days later.
I started CPR at 5:45am on June 4th 2022 while my husband called 911 and then they made him take over because I couldn’t get on the floor from my c section, within 5 minutes she was headed to the hospital in the ambulance and they made us follow behind and we got to the hospital and they told us that she would not make it. They brought us back to her in the er room and pronounced her gone at 6:16am. Everything was a blur that happened after that.
They let me hold my sweet girl as she turned to ice until the medical examiners took her from me that afternoon about 1:30pm. We still have no answers as to what caused her to stop breathing other than suspected SIDS. We may never get the answer and that haunts me still. There are no words to express the pain we feel but knowing our baby girls story will be told and not forgotten means a lot. Our girl did exist, even if it was only for 12 days oh how she existed. Mommy, daddy and brother love and miss you so much Sophie. You are always with us no matter where life takes us and thank you for making us a family of 4 even if it wasn’t as long as we would have liked. Your life was a blessing and I am so thankful that God chose us to be your family. We love you forever and Always.
